HomeFed's Cota Vera 2 project was selected as the best project in the Urban category at the "Global Mobility & Investment Summit" hosted by EB5 Investors Magazine from August 28 to 29 in Miami, USA. At this summit, project representatives answered questions from a panel of judges consisting of immigration attorneys and agents. Among these, HomeFed's Cota Vera 2 received the highest evaluation, earning the top honor in the Urban category. Chris Foulger, CEO of HomeFed, said, "We are very pleased that the Cota Vera 2 project has been recognized as the best project in the Urban category. Through this award, we expect increased interest in Cota Vera 2 among EB5 investors and more investment opportunities to be created."
Cota Vera 2 is a project to develop a large-scale mixed residential community in Chula Vista, southern San Diego. It is HomeFed's third EB5 project, following Escaya and Cota Vera 1, which successfully recruited more than 150 investors in Korea. HomeFed is a specialist in mixed residential community development with over 35 years of experience and is a 100% subsidiary of the Jefferies Financial Group, a NYSE-listed company with a market capitalization of over $11 billion. HomeFed plans to continue strengthening its leadership in the urban development and immigration investment market by providing attractive projects to global EB5 investors through continuous innovation and growth.
John Yu, a U.S. attorney at BCI Inc said, "This award for the Cota Vera 2 EB5 project is the result of being evaluated as the best project chosen by major EB5 experts in the United States," adding, "It shows that expectations for this third project have increased after recognizing the successful results of the previous two projects."
BCI Inc. and HomeFed plan to introduce the Cota Vera 2 EB5 project at the Overseas Study and Immigration Fair to be held at COEX in Seoul on September 21 and 22. During the fair, Halé Richardson, Vice President of HomeFed, will visit Korea in person to provide detailed explanations about the project and hold a Q&A session through an on-site seminar. Detailed inquiries and consultations regarding the Cota Vera 2 project are available through major migration agencies.
